My printer was printing fine but since I’ve changed the cartridges it’s stopped printing

  • Unless you have a clear message on the printer telling you the problem is related to the cartridges, then the cartridges are not the problem: there are no known factors relating to cartridges and connectivity.
  • If you have an all-in-one printer, try to copy something. If you are able to copy, there is nothing wrong with the cartridges.
  • You may have printer problems as you migrate from Windows 7 and 8 to Windows 10. To resolve these, you may need to download updated drivers if they are available. Some older models may not have been updated, so you may lose the ability to scan, for example.
