The Three Counties is an abundance of creativity, which comes in so many wonderful (and sometime wacky) styles and forms. There is a rich culture of creativity across the counties and they range from the traditional to the modern and alternative; small and unassuming to large and loud; and paper and canvas to steel, wood and wool. Have you discovered your love for local creativity?
Celebrated this past week with H.Art (https://www.h-art.org.uk/), Herefordshire has seen artists, creative businesses and craft-makers open their doors and show us their work. With the chance to meet the artists and visit beautiful buildings, H.Art has provided people with the chance to get an inside glimpse into the amazing talents the county has to offer.
Create Gloucestershire (http://www.creategloucestershire.co.uk) is a wonderful venture that brings together a wide range of people committed to developing a world-class arts and cultural offering in Gloucestershire – putting the ART into the HEART of Gloucestershire. Furthermore, they are offering and developing educational opportunities for children and young people.
Worcestershire Also opened their artistic doors over the summer, with Worcestershire Open Studios (http://www.worcestershireopenstudios.org/). Over 70 locations across the county display and portrayed the work of artists and crafters from the county. From drawing, painting and printmaking, to glass, pottery and jewellery, the makers shared their inspiration for their creations.
Love local creativity.
